Clubs play an integral role in the ecosystem of cue sports around the world. The SPL team understands this and is committed to providing growth to the sport, which ultimately depends on venues and their players.
With so many levels of this concept to consider, we rely on the footprint of clubs and pool tables on the continent and intend to forge relationships with venue owners who share the same mindset of building Pool around South Africa.
Billiard Café has already put its foot forward to provide an arena geared for world-class streaming for the public and its supporters to enjoy a weekly unforgettable experience at provincial premier league level.
The SPL at this stage is looking for venues around Gauteng to host seasonal leagues at both provincial and club level , where players close by have the opportunity to participate in the promotional and relegation seasons to climb their way up to national and international championships where the prize money and fame await.

What qualifies a venue to host SPL League?
- A minimum of 4 Pool tables are available on Thursday evenings. The tables must be well-kept and level. They should all be of the same brand, same colour cloth and brand (Premium Speed Cloth only), with Aramith balls. Standard or Pro Cup, but all must be the same.
